The topic of the present paper is the iconography of the coins of the kingdom of Idalion, one of the Cypriot city-kingdoms from the 1st millennium BC. Some of the signs have already been debated separately in the course of broader studies and more general topics. In the present paper the iconographic symbols and their parallels are under discussion, as well as their possible meaning in the context of the royal ideology.
