Digital Identifiers

BulgNJ uses standardized digital identifiers to ensure the accurate attribution, discoverability, and long‑term accessibility of published research.

ORCID

All authors should provide their ORCID identifier, parallel to the institutional affiliation. More information for the purposes and advantages of using ORCID (abbreviation standing for Open Researcher and Contributor ID) can be found on the web page of the platform https://orcid.org/.

Creating an ORCID is free of charge and available to all researchers (for registering, follow the link https://orcid.org/register).

DOI

All published content in the Bulgarian Numismatic Journal for the years 2023-2025 is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) provided through Zenodo. Zenodo is a trusted open-access research repository developed by CERN and OpenAIRE, which ensures persistent identifiers, long-term preservation, and increased visibility and citability of scholarly outputs.
