Excavations of Late Antique structures in Sector V of the Kabyle Archaeological Reserve have been going on for a decade, with the total number of numismatic finds currently exceeding 1,000 specimens. During the three weeks of excavation in 2024, 169 coins were discovered – 6 Hellenistic, 4 Roman from the 2nd-3rd century, 158 pieces from the 4th century, and one from the early 6th century. Most of the coins are recorded in heavily burnt layers, so many are not well preserved.
