This study provides an overview of the published collective finds from the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia. Numerous hoards, containing coins from the 1st to the 5th centuries have been found there. Most of Roman coins found in the region belong to collective finds, i.e. hoards. These hoards can be linked to certain military conditions or barbarian invasions from the north.
